A comment of a former participant, Janice LaMarre (Canada):

"The Sommerakademie opened up new ways of music-making to me. The warm rapport between faculty and students helped me to develop in sound and expression, and to feel comfortable to fully commit to these new ideas in concert. The friendships I made at the program with inspiring musicians have lasted throughout several years. A bond is formed here through earnest performance and inquisitive listening that is unique to Bad Leonfelden. Studying here is the highlight of my summer!"
